Just the opposite of african parents. Some parents receive “Best Mom Ever” or “#1 Dad” mugs simply because their kids are unimaginative gift-givers. But in the case of Yolanda Bogert, such a present would be wholly warranted.
The Australian woman’s 19-year-old son, Kai Bogert, recently came out to her as transgender. To show her support, Yolanda took out a classified in the births section of The Courier-Mail to make a retraction of sorts. continue:


“In 1995 we announced the arrival of our sprogget…as a daughter,” Ms. Bogert begins. “He informs us that we were mistaken. Oops! Our bad. We would like to present, our wonderful son — Kai Bogert.” That might just be the best retraction this side of The New York Times’ “‘Kel from Good Burger’ does not exist.”
“Loving you is the easiest thing in the world,” Yolanda concludes. “Tidy your room.”
